Academic Year
The University offers programs in full-time, part-time and distance learning providing degrees of bachelor (4 years), specialist (5 years) and master (2 years).
Academic year for students learning full-time and part-time is divided into 2 semesters: September – January and February - June. At the end of each semester students are to pass examinations to continue education at the University. If for some reason a student fails to do that, he/she can have extra time for passing exams at the beginning of the next term. Students have vacations between semesters – winter vacation (end of January – middle of February) and summer vacation (end of June – September 1).
Full-time students and part-time students attend classes 5 days a week. They do not have classes on Sunday. Full-time students have 2- 4 classes a day (each class is 2 academic hours that is equal to 90 minutes in total). Breaks between classes are 10-20 minutes.
Part-time students have classes from 5 pm to 9 pm every day except Sunday. Distant students have residential sessions (2-3 weeks) twice a year. The University issues a document that proves your attendance at the session.
