Dormitories
In Cherepovets State University there are 3 comfortable dormitories with the total area of over 10,000 square meters. They are home to more than 1,000 undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students. You can get from dormitories to academic buildings within 10 minutes by bus or 10-30 minutes on foot.
Comfortable lounges, plants, warm and homely atmosphere. The main thing is comfort and convenience. That's the only way to study and exercise efficiently and have a good rest.
"The first thing that draws the attention of everyone who comes to our dorm is homely atmosphere. We don't have any formalism, everything is simple and friendly. Of course, our dorm is a part of the big leading university of Vologda region, but for us, first of all, it is our second home, the place where you can not only study but also have a good rest, where you can find new and interesting hobbies, where you can develop your potential, where you can make good friends".
The dormitories are equipped with everything you need: gyms, kitchens, laundries, libraries and rooms for studies. There are halls for student events. Each student has access to high-speed Internet.
There is a modern system of voice announcement emergencies. All rooms have smoke detectors that are connected to the automatic fire alarm system, which works together with the alarm buttons on the floors. The entrance to the dorms is equipped with the permit system that works with electronic key cards and with the system of circular and domestic surveillance. In case of emergencies the order is provided by a private security company – there is an alarm button.
It is home to creative, initiative students and enthusiastic staff who love their work. The word "fraternity" means very specific and particular things here - friendship, love, mutual support, shared joy of victories and common grief of defeats.
